Time to set a new goal...

New blog post at FierceFitFearless. After nearly a year of consistent training, I reached the deadlift goal of 220 lbs that I set back in February. Read about it here...

Next goal set: 250 lbs by Memorial Day, 2012.

Deadlifted 215 x 4 today @bodyweight of 116. Another PR!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. The Triple F Crew is now 762 strong and grows a bit every day thanks to Martin Berkhan and Andrew Morgan helping us to spread the word to all the FIERCE ladies out there.

Had an amazing workout today. It was one of those days that I just KNEW I would smash records. I was practically skipping off the treadmill during my warmup. Buzzing - literally - I was bouncing around to my music and getting psyched for DEADS.

Last time I tried them, I was nursing a strained back and could barely pull 185. Before that, 215 x 1. Before that was my all time record of 215 x 3 almost a month ago. Well, I am more than ecstatic to report that today I hit 215 lbs x 4 (one added rep on my previous PR) and 195 x 5 (more added reps even on second set).

Additionally, my leg extensions are up to 150 x 8, 135 x 9 and, for weighted chins, I spaced and added an extra 5 lbs more than planned and cranked out +32.5 lbs x 3 - I was deflated, thinking I lost two reps on my previous best of +27.5 x 5, until I realized I had a 25 lb plate, a 5 lb plate and a 2.5 lb plate hanging on the chain. Ooops. That's the kind of mistake that helps us to break plateaus! Ended chins with +20 x 5, bodyweight x 9.

Speaking of my bodyweight I weighed in at 116 lbs this morning - a weight I have been holding within a pound for months now, but the strength is increasing, legs are beginning to show definition as are my arms, shoulders and chest. Latest pics taken in crappy light in my crappier bathroom mirror about a week ago...Still thick in the middle, but it's shrinking ever soooooo slooooowly. Haha. Regardless, I feel AMAZING. I feel light. I feel strong. And I feel FIERCE!
